ContactShield protects your iOS contacts from applications that have access to that data and from attempts to hack into your contacts, even on a cloud server. With a single tap, you can encrypt your contacts and select which specific fields to protect (for example, phone numbers, addresses, e-mails, notes). After verifying your password/fingerprint, standard address book operations such as making phone calls, sending SMS messages and e-mails, are available on ContactShield, even if the contacts' data is encrypted. Synchronization with your cloud encrypts the data on the cloud server. Now your cloud and iOS contacts data will both be protected.

How does it work?
==============
Tapping on ContactShield’s lock icon simply encrypts the data on your iOS contact, not on ContactShield. ContactShield does not keep a copy of your contacts. At launch, it reads your address book contacts and decrypts (unlocks) the relevant data. Your iOS contacts stay protected at all times.
Because ContactShield makes the contact data available for use in a non-encrypted format, access to ContactShield itself is protected by a Touch ID or password. Even if your address book contacts (mobile device or cloud server) are compromised, you are safe. The data you selected to encrypt is secured with an AES 256-bit encryption algorithm.(In June 2003, the U.S. Government announced that AES could be used to protect classified information.)
Please Note: Do not modify the encrypted data on your iOS address book! Changing this data will prevent ContactShield from decrypting (unlocking) it!

What's New
Based on users input (thank you) we implemented few improvements:
- A single contact requires no confirmation when Apply is tapped.
- Apply button is disabled when single contact is unlocked and no fields/values are selected.
- The number of contacts affected by Lock/Unlock All depends on the filter.
